Launceston Golf Club is one of Tasmania’s premier golf clubs and is the 5th oldest eighteen-hole golf course in Australia and the oldest eighteen-hole golf course in Tasmania.
With a par 72, 5808-metre layout the course offers many challenges, along with rewards for all those good shots. Coupled with an extensive range of practice facilities including nets, practice fairways, chipping and putting areas golfers of all levels are ideally catered for at Launceston Golf Club.
Associated facilities also include clubs and buggy storage, locker and electric cart hire and complete golf professional services so as all your golfing needs are provided for.
We have an extensive choice of membership categories to ensure that the majority of golfers are catered for. With junior and student memberships available the Club also conducts a junior development program which is supported by our resident PGA professional.
Our clubhouse also offers a welcoming and hospitable environment in which to relax before or after your golf game or any other time for a refreshment or snack. Social memberships are also encouraged so as non-golfers also can enjoy the relaxed surroundings that the Launceston Golf Club has to offer.
We have a choice of payment options available for memberships including monthly direct debit, annual payment, and other credit facilities.

The above sundry items and levies are payable in full with the first instalment where the monthly direct debit option is used.
Invoices will be emailed to members in September of each year.
Payment Options:
- Total amount owing to be paid in full by 1st October of each year, or
- Monthly deductions from a bank/credit card account commencing on 15th October. A monthly fee of $3.50 applies where this option is used.
Clause 32 of the Club’s constitution provides for the imposition of an additional amount of 5% per month or part thereof where a subscription is not paid within two months of the due date.
